Kevin and George from the Uncut Sports Show preview the UFC’s next primetime event, UFC on FX 8 live on May 18th. Since dropping to middleweight, after spending most of his career at either heavyweight or competing at 205-pounds, UFC on FX 8 headliner Vitor Belfort has only tasted defeat in the weight class one time. Former Strikeforce Middleweight Champion Luke Rockhold recently declared he “had more heart” and was “more of a man” than Vitor Belfort ahead of their UFC on FX 8 fight, which goes down at Arena Jaragua in Santa Catarina, Brazil.

Rockhold seems to be getting fuel for his fire thanks to the recent revelation that “The Phenom” has been granted permission to undergo Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) prior to his UFC on FX 7 fight against Michael Bisping. Thanks to that “chip on his shoulder,” Luke says he is ready to go to Brazil on UFC’s dime and gladly “kick Belfort’s ass.”And while the 28 year-old Rockhold has done plenty during his five-year career and has likely gone through trials and tribulations throughout his life, he is no position to say he is “more of a man” than “The Phenom” according to the Brazilian bomber.

With Philippou now out of the upcoming card in Brazil, the UFC has opted to make some switches in already existing bouts to give Jacare a new opponent while welcoming in a newcomer to fill another slot on the show. Jacare has won his last three and is expected to make a serious impression on the 185lb terrain. He used to own the Strikeforce middleweight strap and will begin his assault on UFC gold on the May 18 card. Middleweight contender Chris Camozzi will get the call to move into the slot vacated by Philippou, and he will now face Jacare on the main card at UFC on FX 8.
