Former UFC heavyweight champ Tim Sylvia didn’t event bother to disrobe before hitting the scales Thursday night for his headlining Titan Fighting Championship 16 bout with Abe Wagner. Sylvia obviously new that there was no point in showing up in shorts as he tipped the scales at 311 lbs while his opponent, Wagner, weighed in at 265.2 lbs.
Titan FC 16 goes down tonight at the Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kan. with the main card airing live on HDNet beginning at 10 PM EST (7PM PST).
Sylvia stepped in as a replacement for Todd Duffee who took a fight with Alistair Overeem in Japan on New Years Eve. “The Maine-iac” has won four in a row in bouts where he’s weighed 310 and 305 lbs over the past few years.
