Tito Ortiz To Be Inducted Into The UFC Hall Of Fame

Following today’s UFC 150 press conference, promotion president Dana White spoke to the media following the event and one of the questions that came up was who the next inductee into the UFC Hall of Fame might be.

“This Hall of Fame induction is going to be Tito (Ortiz).”

“I think he’s a guy, pound for pound at the time when we were hurting, was trying to do more damage to this company than anybody in the history of the. But at the same time I think that the storylines played out and it’s a part of our history between me, Chuck and Tito. It is definitely a part of the history of the sport.”

Ortiz is scheduled for a grudge match with Forrest Griffin at UFC 148 on July 7 in Las Vegas, which also hosts the upcoming UFC Fan Expo. Both Ortiz and Griffin own a split decision win over the other.
