Colby Covington received support from President Donald Trump earlier today (Sat., Aug. 3, 2019) in advance to his main event clash with “Ruthless” Robbie Lawler at UFC on ESPN 5 inside Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

Covington, who already traveled to the White House to visit Trump after his interim title win over Rafael dos Anjos at UFC 225 last year, has been one of the biggest supporters in MMA for the President. Trump returned the favor by offering the following message to “Chaos” prior to his clash with Lawler:

“Fight hard tonight Colby,” wrote Trump via Twitter. “You are a real champ.”

In addition to the President, Trump’s sons, Donald Jr. and Eric, were cageside for Covington’s main event fight. Covington had promised that the two Trump brothers would be in attendance and that actually came true. Check it out below:

Covington still has a main event to win but at least he got the presidential support that he was hoping for.
