The finale for The Ultimate Fighter went down on Saturday, April 13 from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, NV. In the main event former WEC champion Urijah Faber earned a submission victory over Scott Jorgensen, while the co-main event featured an upset as Kelvin Gastelum upset Uriah Hall in the final fight of TUF 17.
The fight that stole the show was the second women’s fight in the history of the UFC, as Cat Zingano punched her ticket to a coaching gig opposite UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey in the upcoming season of TUF by earning a TKO win over former Strikeforce champion Miesha Tate.
