As I watched Uriah Hall’s heel send Adam Cella’s unconscious body crashing to the canvas on the latest episode of The Ultimate Fighter, I just couldn’t help but channel my inner Smokey from the cult-classic stoner flick, Friday.
Yelling at the top of my lungs (and in my worst Chris Tucker impression) it sounded something like this: “Cella, you got knocked the f*** out, man!”
It’s not like we haven’t seen this move before, but there’s just a certain aesthetic beauty to the spin kick that, for me, outshines all other striking techniques.
