If you’re on the cast of The Ultimate Fighter season 20 and you’re healthy enough to fight, you have a place on the season finale card.
That’s according to a Tuesday report from Damon Martin of Fox Sports.
Justine Kish, who is currently recovering from surgery to repair a torn ACL in her knee, is the only one of the 16 cast members not to be included on the finale card, said UFC officials cited in the report.
TUF 20 is a little different than previous seasons of the show, as the competitors are part of a weight class—women’s strawweight, or 115 pounds—that previously did not exist in the UFC. Therefore, the TUF 20 cast makes up the large majority of the UFC’s roster in that division. The winner of the season will be crowned as the division’s first champion.
Under more normal circumstances, TUF cast members are fighting for a six-figure UFC contract as opposed to an actual title.
Matchups for the 15 healthy cast members have not yet been announced, as fights are still airing on season episodes.
The 15 cast members scheduled to appear on the finale include:
- Carla Esparza
- Randa Markos
- Joanne Calderwood
- Alex Chambers
- Jessica Penne
- Felice Herrig
- Aisling Daly
- Angela Hill
- Tecia Torres
- Emily Kagan
- Rose Namajunas
- Lisa Ellis
- Heather Jo Clark
- Bec Rawlings
- Angela Magana
In addition to the strawweights, three other bouts have been revealed for the TUF 20 finale, including Daron Cruickshank vs. K.J. Noons, Jeremy Stephens vs. Charles Oliveira and Joe Proctor vs. Yancy Medeiros.
The TUF 20 finale is set to take place December 12 in Las Vegas. The show is currently airing on Fox Sports 1. The strawweights are competing in two main teams under the tutelage of lightweight champion Anthony Pettis and top contender Gilbert Melendez. Pettis and Melendez are expected to fight for the lightweight championship late in 2014.
