Tibau came in with a record of 22-7 while Oliveira entered with a record of 14-3.
Tibau caught Oliveira with a left and Oliveira remained active on the bottom and he was able to regain his feet.
Tibau gained another takedown, but he could not keep Oliveira down. Once they got back to their feet Tibau rocked Oliveira with a short left that put Oliveira down. Tibau then gained back mount and he was able to sneak a choke under the chin of Oliveira who was most likely looking to avoid more of the heavier strikes from Tibau. Once the rear naked choke was in Oliveira quickly tapped out.

Tibau then told Joe Rogan that he was looking for the title, adding that more would be coming.
