The Ultimate Fighting Championship is set to feature it’s second ever event in Brazil this evening when the live UFC 134: Silva vs. Okami kicks off in Rio de Janeiro.
The UFC Rio event consists of a twelve bout card with matches airing on Facebook.com/UFC, Spike TV, and Pay-Per-View. The main card pits UFC middleweight champ Anderson Silva against Japanese fighter Yushin Okami, while former light heavyweight champs Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua and Forrest Griffin meet in a re-match in the nights co-main event.
The entire event begins on Facebook.com/UFC beginning at approximately 6PM EST (3PM PST) with five matches, then switches to Spike TV (in the U.S, Rogers Sportsnet in Canada) with a two bout “UFC Prelims” special at 8PM EST (5PM PST), and finally the five bout pay-per-view card at 9PM EST (6PM PST).
