The UFC is making its first return to Denver, Colorado since December 1995.
Over a hundred UFC events later, the UFC’s return comes in the form of UFC 135: Jones vs. Rampage.
UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones makes his first title defense since beating Mauricio “Shogun” Rua at UFC 128 in March. Former light heavyweight champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson makes his return to the big stage after wins over Matt Hamill and Lyoto Machida.
Jones vs. Rampage is set to be an entertaining fight, with their co-main event featuring the return of the man, the myth and the legend, Matt Hughes.
This will be Hughes’ first fight in almost a year and it will be against former No. 1 welterweight title contender Josh Koscheck.
The main card also brings you two heavyweight showdowns.
Ben Rothwell is set to face the Super Samoan Mark Hunt, while Travis Browne faces Rob Broughton.
Rounding out the main card is brother of Nick “Beauty Pageant” Diaz, Nate Diaz. Nate makes his return to lightweight against all-time Japanese great Takanori Gomi.
