“I’m sure I’m going to have one seriously pissed off Hawaiian to deal with.”—Dana White on BJ Penn‘s presumed response to losing his opponent at UFC 137.

It would appear that Dana was right.

One day after the whole Nick Diaz saga, where Carlos Condit was promoted to a title shot due to Diaz missing multiple media events, Condit’s original opponent, BJ Penn, has shown a bit of his fury.

As soon as Condit was announced as the challenger for the title instead of Diaz, people began to speculate on who could fight Penn. The immediate thought was none other than Jon Fitch.

Fitch responded early Thursday morning, saying:

“my twitter has blown up. Lots of people asking if I’ve been offered a fight yet. I haven’t. But I am more than willing to fight bj or Diaz”

Penn saw this on Thursday afternoon, and responded quite angrily, tweeting:

“@jonfitchdotnet If your not ready to fight shut your $@&%ING mouth! Dana said your not cleared till December.Quit wasting everybody’s time.”

Those are some intense words from Penn, as he is clearly not happy with the current predicament he finds himself in.

Penn and Fitch last fought at UFC 127, where the fight ended in a majority draw. They were set to have a rematch at UFC 132, but they both suffered injuries and had to pull out.

After that, Dana said that he did not want to do the fight again, because the fans don’t want to see it.

UPDATE: BJ Penn tweeted again at around 3:30 ET, saying

“Dana just offered me a deal I can’t refuse.pretty sure I’m still fighting on Oct. 29th.”
