UFC president Dana White keeps this video blog short and sweet, proving that Duane ‘Bang’ Ludwig should be the record holder for the fastest knockout in UFC history. The Nevada State Athletic Commission has opted not to change the official time of 11-seconds despite the evidence.
Looking at the video, and according to White’s criteria, Ludwig was able to stop opponent Jonathan Goulet in 6.06 seconds via knockout, back in January 2006 with one punch at a UFC Fight Night 3. ‘The Korean Zombie’ Chan Sung Jung has the second quickest stoppage, almost matching the record by KOing Mark Hominick at 6.26 seconds of their UFC 140 match. While Todd Duffee is now officially third for his 7.56 second finish of Tim Hague at UFC 102.
