On Saturday night, Junior dos Santos squared off against Frank Mir for the heavyweight title, and the fight went as many expected, with dos Santos scoring a TKO victory over the former champion.
In the co-main event, Cain Velasquez faced off against Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva, in a bout with major title implications. Velasquez emerged the winner and put himself in line for a shot at the heavyweight belt.
