UFC 147: Silva vs. Franklin poster
The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to Brazil this evening for UFC 147: Silva vs. Franklin. The live pay-per-view event takes place at the Estadio Jornalista Felipe Drumond in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
Headlining are a couple of fan favorites as TUF Brazil coach Wanderlei ‘The Axe Murderer’ Silva welcomes former UFC champ Rich ‘Ace’ Franklin to Brazil in a 190-lbs catchweight bout.
Silva was to face opposing TUF Brazil coach Vitor Belfort, but ‘The Phenom’ was forced out with a broken hand.
Tonight’s event also features the TUF Brazil finals for the middleweight and featherweight divisions.
The event begins at 7pm EST (4pm PST) with the Facebook.com/UFC prelim card, before switching to FX television at 8pm EST for the remaining preliminary matches. The pay-per-view card kicks off at 10pm EST.
