UFC 152 is expected occur on September 22, 2012 in at Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Canada and features the first ever flyweight title fight as Joseph Benavidez takes on Demetrious ‘Mighty Mouse’ Johnson in the main event.

Swanson has won two in a row and is 3-1 over his last four matches. The former WEC featherweight title challenger earned a second round TKO win over Ross Pearson last June at UFC on FX 4, earning himself some extra coin for the “Knockout of the Night.” Swanson’s other victory took place at UFC on FOX 2 in January, stopping George Roop by TKO.

Since dropping to featherweight, Oliveira has won two straight submitting both Jonathan Brookins, at the TUF 15 Finale, and Eric Wisely, at UFC on FOX 2. The wins were a welcome change for the Brazilian who went 0-2-1 with losses to Donald Cerrone and Jim Miller, as well as a “No Contest” for illegal knees versus Nik Lentz.

Miller will look to build on his record after a successful debut at welterweight in June. Miller was able to submit Ricardo Funch at the UFC on FX 4 show in New Jersey. The victory also earned Miller the “Submission of the Night” bonus. Previous to that he went 2-5 in a span competing at middleweight.

Pierson will compete at home inside the Octagon for the second time in his career and will look to make it two victories in a row after a decision win versus Jake Hecht in June at UFC on FX 3. The win put Pierson back into the win column following back-to-back losses to Dong Hyun Kim, at UFC 141, and against Jake Ellenberger, at UFC 129.
