In just five days the Ultimate Fighting Championship will host it’s first ever women’s bout inside the Octagon as women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey (6-0) gets set to defend her UFC title for the first time versus challenger Liz ‘Girl-Rilla’ Carmouche (7-2).
The two headline this weekends UFC 157 pay-per-view event scheduled to take place on Saturday (February 23) at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.
Supporting the main event will be a light heavyweight bout between a pair of former champions as Lyoto Machida takes on Dan Henderson, while bantamweights Urijah Faber and Ivan Menjivar square off in a rematch.
Fans can catch the last episode of the UFC Primetime series featuring Rousey and Carmouche this Thursday, with the official weigh-ins scheduled for Thursday and fight night on Saturday.
