Thanks to the use of social media, fighters can take a step back, think about the rankings and play matchmaker.

That’s exactly what UFC 201 winners Jorge Masvidal and Jake Ellenberger did on Twitter Monday.

Masvidal earned a win this weekend over Ross Pearson, while Ellenberger saved his job in the UFC by finishing Matt Brown.

Now, the two want to square off in a key welterweight showdown.
