Arnold Allen was looking forward to competing for the third time inside the Octagon next week at UFC 204 opposite Mirsad Bektic.

The two were the planned main card opener from the Manchester Arena in England on pay-per-view, but Allen has suffered an injury and will not be able to compete.

Allen (11-1) has scored wins in both of his UFC appearances, besting Alam Omer and Yaotzin Meza. Bektic (10-0) owns a 3-0 Octagon mark after his wins vs. Chas Skelly, Paul Redmond and Lucas Martins.

Officials are working on finding a short-notice replacement to keep Bektic on the card.

UFC 204 features Michael Bisping defending his middleweight title against Dan Henderson, along with fellow 185-pound fighters Gegard Mousasi and Vitor Belfort squaring off.
