While the main event didn’t end in devastating fashion last night (Sat., Jan. 20, 2018) at UFC 220 live on pay-per-view (PPV) from inside TD Garden in Boston, Mass., the action was memorable to say the least. Not only did UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic walk through Francis Ngannou’s best shots to defend his title for a third-straight time, but Daniel Cormier retained his 205-pound crown with a TKO win over feisty challenger Volkan Oezdemir.
Adding to the mix was Rob Font and Calvin Kattar, who added individual main card knockouts to appease the home crowd. The rematch between welterweights Abdul Razak Alhassan and Sabah Homasi also produced fireworks, as Alhassan ended Homasi with a nasty first-round knockout.
