The action delivered as promised last night (Sat., Dec. 14, 2019) at UFC 245 live on ESPN+ PPV from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, as Kamaru Usman successfully defended his UFC welterweight title by ending Colby Covington via fifth-round TKO (see highlights HERE).
In addition to Usman’s stoppage over “Chaos,” Alexander Volkanovski pulled through to upset Max Holloway and claim the undisputed UFC featherweight crown, Amanda Nunes successfully defended her UFC women’s bantamweight title in a rematch with Germaine de Randamie, Petr Yan put a vicious end to UFC Hall of Famer Urijah Faber, Geoff Neal scored a memorable TKO finish over welterweight bruiser Mike Perry, UFC veteran Matt Brown returned from a two-year hiatus to finish Ben Saunders with a nasty elbow knockout, and women’s bantamweight contender Irene Aldana scored a fabulous one-punch knockout over Ketlen Vieira.
