UFC Books Fight for Former Strikeforce Welterweight Jason High

Jason High is getting a second shot at UFC glory. Per his Twitter account, @KCBanditMMA:
Just signed & returned my @ufc contract. No date yet but hopefully will know soon. Bout to go down. @hdmma @americantopteam #TeamQuixie— Jason High …

Jason High is getting a second shot at UFC glory.

Per his Twitter account, @KCBanditMMA:

A veteran of 19 professional fights, High has once graced the Octagon, but he failed to capitalize on the opportunity, as he dropped a unanimous decision against Charlie Brenneman at UFC Fight Night: Florian vs. Gomi.

High showed that one loss does not define a fighter’s career, though, and he bounced back from this Octagon defeat with seven straight victories, including a three-fight streak in Strikeforce.

His most recent victory, a 26-second win via guillotine choke at Strikeforce: Rockhold vs. Kennedy, was incredibly impressive and the cause of much controversy following the broadcast of the event.

Now High gets the chance to display his skills in front of the largest audience in MMA, and there is no doubt that “The Kansas City Bandit” will come out blazing in his Octagon 2.0 performance.

Where do you think High will fall in the UFC’s stacked welterweight division? Can he become a contender?

Let me know what you think below, and we’ll have a jolly talk.
