Breaking sports news video. MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL highlights and more.

UFC bantamweight champ Dominick Cruz earned a unanimous decision over top contender Demetrious Johnson in the main event of Saturday’s, October 1st, UFC on Versus 6 card. The champ says Johnson offered him nothing he hadn’t seen before, but still needed to stay on his toes throughout the fight. The plan was to “grind out” a win, and he did just that after five rounds.

Of note, the champ also broke his right hand, the opposite one he’s broken before, during the fight and will be out for awhile till it heals.
