UFC Fight Night 110 video: Watch Derek Brunson finish Roan Carneiro in ‘KO of the Week’

UFC middleweight contender Derek Brunson will look to get back into the win column tomorrow night (Sat., June 10, 2017) at UFC Fight Night 110 live on FOX Sports 1 from inside Spark Arena in Auckland, New Zealand, when he takes on Australian veteran Daniel Kelly. Brunson, 33, is coming off a knockout loss to Robert Whittaker at UFC Fight Night 101 and most recently a decision loss to Anderson Silva at UFC 208 in Brooklyn.

In order to prepare fight fans for Brunson’s return to action, UFC featured the middleweight finisher in the most recent edition of “KO of the Week.” This time, the action focuses around Brunson’s knockout victory over Brazilian veteran Roan Carneiro at UFC Fight Night 83. It was Brunson’s third-straight knockout finish at the time and ultimately extended his divisional win streak to four (which would later get stretched to five with a knockout win over Uriah Hall).

While Kelly is a savvy fighter capable of handling athletic middleweights, Brunson’s power and explosiveness are near the top in the division. It will be interesting to see if Brunson can rely on yet another knockout finish to end just the second two-fight skid of his career.

UFC Fight Night 110 will be headlined by a heavyweight clash between budding title contender Derrick Lewis and tested veteran Mark Hunt.

MMAmania.com will deliver LIVE round-by-round, blow-by-blow coverage of the entire UFC Fight Night 110 fight card, starting with the Fight Pass “Prelims” matches online, which are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. ET, and then the remaining undercard balance on FOX Sports 1 at 8 p.m. ET, before the main card start time at 10 p.m. ET, also on FOX Sports 1.
