The UFC is going on a world tour. More specifically, eight of the top fighters in the promotion will be hitting 11 cities in five countries between July 29 and August 2 in order to promote the upcoming UFC fight cards.
The tour schedule is as follows:
July 29: California Bay Area. UFC 166 main event fighters Cain Velasquez and Junior dos Santos will take part in a press day that will be free and open to the public.
July 29: Las Vegas, Nevada. Media Day with UFC 167 main event fighters Georges St-Pierre and Johny Hendricks. The event will take place in the main lobby of the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino at 12 p.m. PT. The event will be free and open to the public.
July 30: Los Angeles, California. A press conference will take place at Club Nokia at 11 a.m. PT. The presser will be hosted by UFC president Dana White and attended by Cain Velasquez, Junior Dos Santos, Jon Jones, Alexander Gustafsson, Georges St-Pierre, Johny Hendricks, Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate. The event will be free and open to the public.
July 31: New York City. A press conference will take place at the Beacon Theatre at 1 p.m. ET. The presser will be hosted by UFC president Dana White and attended by Cain Velasquez, Junior Dos Santos, Jon Jones, Alexander Gustafsson, Georges St-Pierre, Johny Hendricks, Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate. The event will be free and open to the public.
August 1: Montreal, Quebec. UFC Director of Canadian Operations Tom Wright will host a press conference at Complexe Desjardins at 12:30 p.m. ET with UFC 167 main event fighters Georges St-Pierre and Johny Hendricks. The event will be free and open to the public.
August 1: Houston, Texas. UFC 166 main event fighters Cain Velasquez and Junior dos Santos will take part in open workouts and interviews from the Toyota Center. The event will be free and open to the public.
August 1: Stockholm, Sweden. UFC 165 main event fighters Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson will take part in a press day.
August 2: Dallas, Texas. UFC 167 main event fighters Georges St-Pierre and Johny Hendricks will take part in open workouts and interviews from Cowboys Stadium at 1 p.m. CT. The event will be free and open to the public.
August 2: Chicago, Illinois. UFC 168 co-main event fighters Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate will take part in a press day.
August 2: London, England. UFC 165 main event fighters Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson will take part in a press day.
August 2: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. UFC 166 main event fighters Cain Velasquez and Junior dos Santos will take part in a Q-and-A session prior to UFC 162 weigh-ins. The event will be free and open to the public.
