It’s been awhile since fans saw UFC heavyweight interim champion Shane Carwin inside the Octagon. The fighter hasn’t been in action since June 2011 after a loss to current champion Junior dos Santos at UFC 131. In the fall, Carwin underwent surgery for his neck and has been sidelined ever since. In this video Carwin talks about his recovery, returning to training and his hopes at earning a rematch with JDS. Carwin hopes to return this fall feeling that he is still a threat to anyone in the UFC’s biggest division.
