The UFC has named David Allen its Senior Vice President and General Manager of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). An announcement on Friday by the UFC made the news official.
Allen has been with the organization since December of 2013 where was Director of Events, Marketing and Communications for EMEA, working out the UFC’s London office. Moving forward, Allen continue to operate out of London as he oversees the UFC’s business in EMEA. He will report to UFC Chief Global Brand Officer Garry Cook.
Prior to joining UFC, Allen worked previously for Adidas, Nike and UMBRO, heading up sales efforts and brand development for the EMEA region.
“I have had the privilege of working with David over many years and his dedication, determination and drive will add great value,” said Cook via release. “The UFC looks forward to the further growth of the brand in EMEA under David’s tutelage, as the organization targets new markets, partnerships and opportunities, including it’s largest European event to date in Stockholm next week.”
