Nick Diaz was suspended for one year by the Nevada State Athletic Commission Monday afternoon for testing positive for marijuana metabolites after UFC 143, where he lost to Carlos Condit in a bout for UFC interim welterweight title.
Needless to say, Diaz’s head coach/manager Cesar Gracie was not thrilled with the outcome, especially since Diaz was also fined 30 percent of his $200,000 purse from the event, which comes out to a hefty $60,000.
However, it was interesting who Gracie decided to throw under the bus with the elder Diaz brother:
@ufc Get drunk and wreck cars or do steroids between fights is OK. Smoke weed legally between fights and NSAC throws the book at you

Gracie is of course referring to UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones, who crashed his Bentley into a telephone pole and was arrested for suspicion of DUI early Saturday morning in New York.
Who Gracie is referring to with his steroid comment is more open to interpretation.
Also noteworthy is the fact that Gracie tweeted at the UFC, who have not responded to the tweet as of 11 p.m. on Monday.
Jones, who issued a public apology Monday, has not responded to the venom Gracie spewed either as of Monday evening.
