After a largely disappointing debut on the FOX network, the UFC gets its second crack at showing up on the national stage with UFC on Fox 2. The highly publicized event is set to take place on Jan. 28 at the United Center in Chicago, with three feature bouts headlining the main card.
All three fights feature talent that cater to mixed martial arts fans, but also boast the star quality to draw in new fans tuning in for the first time.
In the opener, two middleweights on the outside looking in will have the chance to put their names into title conversion as All-American wrestler Chris Wediman squares up against Brazilian jiu-jitsu master Demian Maia.
Next up will be a No. 1 contender bout, as a determined Michael Bisping will look to upset the sport’s most controversial character, Chael Sonnen.
Headlining the broadcast will be a potentially explosive light-heavyweight bout as former champion Rashad Evans goes head-to-head with undefeated phenom Phil Davis.
In this video, I make my picks for the winner of each main card bout. Don’t agree with my picks? By all means, leave your comments below.
