It’s fight week for the UFC, and Dana White returns with Part 2 of his three-day video blog featuring UFC on FOX 3 fight predictions with Dominick Cruz and Urijah Faber and a special look back at UFC 145.
This weekend’s card takes place at the IZOD Center in N.J. and will feature four main-card bouts, including Nate Diaz vs. Jim Miller, Josh Koscheck vs. Johny Hendricks, Rousimar Palhares vs. Alan Belcher and Pat Barry vs. Lavar Johnson.
The main event is scheduled for five rounds and is likely to create a No. 1 contender in the lightweight division after former champ Frankie Edgar rematches Benson Henderson for the title at UFC 150.
Cruz’s picks include Barry, Palhares, Koscheck and Diaz. Faber went with Johnson, Belcher, Koscheck and Diaz and picked each fight to end before the final bell.
With the welterweight division tied up with two champions waiting to fight each other, the winner of Koscheck and Hendricks will be looking to get into a No. 1 contender’s matchup down the line.
Other bouts on Fuel TV include Tony Ferguson vs. Michael Johnson, John Dodson vs. Tim Elliot and John Hathaway vs. Pascal Krauss.
UFC 145 recap includes a behind-the-scenes look at the fighters after their bouts from last week’s event. In the main event, UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones retained his title with a five-round decision over his former training partner Rashad Evans.
Also on the card, Rory MacDonald and Michael McDonald earned big knockout wins over their competition while heavyweight Ben Rothwell defeated Brendan Schaub.
