The ‘Fight Night’ bonuses for UFC on FOX: Henderson vs. Diaz were announced following the Seattle, Washington event on Saturday night, awarding $65,000 in bonuses to Yves Edwards, Scott Jorgensen and John Albert.

Edwards earned the “Knockout of the Night” bonus, while Jorgensen earned the “Submission of the Night” and the “Fight of the Night” bonus for his win against Albert.

UFC on FOX 5 took place on December 17, 2012 at the KeyArena in Seattle, Washington. The television event featured a lightweight title defense by UFC champ Benson Henderson who earned a decision victory over contender Nate Diaz.

Edwards earned a solid knockout win over Jeremy Stephens in a bout that had originally been scheduled for UFC on FX 5. The two tried to light each other up early but it was Edwards who would land with a right hand sending Stephens to the mat. Edwards would pounce looking for the finish landing punches and elbows, knocking ‘Lil Heathen’ out at 1:55 of the first.

Jorgensen and Albert would open the Fox event with their Facebook streamed prelim bout. The two would trade strikes before an early takedown by Jorgensen. Both men would work from the mat, throwing in sweeps and submission attempts in the round. Just before the ten-second clapper, Jorgensen would take Albert’s back and sink in a rear-naked choke forcing the tap with one second on the clock at 4:59 to earn the win.
