We’re just days away from UFC 157, so the MMA world is squarely focused on the upcoming fight card, and rightly so as the promotion is not only rolling out the first women’s bout in UFC history, but doing so as the main event on a pay per view card.

Before we get to the Ronda Rousey versus Liz Carmouche headlined event, there is the need to do some housekeeping regarding UFC on Fuel 7.

UFC on Fuel 7 took place on February 16 from Wembley Arena in London, England and featured a main event between UFC interim bantamweight champion Renan Barao and Michael McDonald.

Barao retained his title in the bout, stopping McDonald with a fourth round arm-triangle choke submission that earned him “Submission of the Night” honors and most likely set him up for a bout against bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz this summer.  That is if Cruz is able to fully recovered from knee surgery.

The co-main event of the evening saw Cub Swanson defeat Dustin Poirier in a featherweight scrap. The victory bumped Swanson up to number five in the UFC rankings and ramped up the talk that the veteran fighter should be considered for a shot at champion Jose Aldo.

“Knockout of the Night” and “Fight of the Night” went to Tom Watson, who defeated Stanislav Nedkov via TKO at 4:42 of Round 2.

In the aftermath of the fight card, the UFC has released the list of fighters that have been medically suspended.  Below you will find the complete list of those suspensions via mixedmartialarts.com:
