UFC Vegas 10 video highlights: Waterson takes split decision in war with Hill

UFC Vegas 10 was the setting where the UFC’s #8 ranked strawweight, Michelle Waterson, waged total war with the #13 ranked, Angela Hill. Hill came out strong, landing clean counter punches while pressuring Waterson backwards. Just when it looked as if it was going to be a long night for Waterson, she was able to get a takedown to reset, and then started to strike her way back into the fight. After 25-minutes, it was Waterson who was taking home the split decision victory. Both fighters set personal records for strikes landed, and both fighters showed off tremendous amounts of heart. What a fight!

Round 5 – This round could very well determine the winner. Hill lands a right hand, Waterson shoots for a takedown but Hill defends well. Waterson lands a right hand followed by a knee. Waterson fakes the takedown and lands an uppercut on the inside. Good combination from Hill. Head kick from Hill is blocked but she lands a right hand after. Hard leg kicks from Waterson. Hill lands knees and elbows in the clinch as the round comes to an end. What a fight! 10-9 Waterson.
