UFC Welterweights Dennis Hallman vs. TJ Waldburger Also Targeted For UFC Fight Night 24

MMAjunkie.com confirmed the bout with a source close to the fight, noting that both men have agreed to the fight but no contracts have been signed yet.

Hallman who has 59 career bouts to his name, will make his eighth appearance in the octagon and is in his fifth run with the promotion. Currently he is 3-4 in the UFC and in his longest stint with the promotion at four bouts. In this run Hallman stopped Karo Parisyan by TKO at UFC 123 in his last appearance, and also earned a victory over Ben Saunders at UFC 117 by unanimous decision. He lost his return bout at the TUF 10 Finale losing to John Howard by knockout.

Waldburger made his UFC debut in September against David Mitchell at UFC Fight Night: Marquardt vs. Palhares. He earned a unanimous decision to win his fourth fight in a row. Waldburger had been scheduled to meet Matt Riddle at UFC 124 last month but was forced to withdraw after an injury. Ten of his thirteen wins have come via submission.

UFC Fight Night 24 has yet to be officially announced, but it is expected to take place at the Key Arena in Seattle, Washington. Headlining the event is a light-heavyweight match between Antônio Rogério “Lil’Nog” Nogueira and Tito Ortiz.
