The Ultimate Fighting Championship’s women’s bantamweight division has grown by another two fighters as former Olympic Silver medalist Sara McMann (6-0) and Canadian fighter Alexis Davis (13-5) join the world’s top promotion.

The announcement was made on Tuesday during the media conference call for the upcoming UFC 157 pay-per-view event.

No opponents were named for either woman but it’s likely that they’ll be pitted against each other for an upcoming show.

Miesha Tate and Cat Zingano were named as opponents yesterday for this April’s TUF 17 Finale event.

McMann won her Silver medal in women’s freestyle wrestling at the 2004 Olympic games. She debuted with the all-female mma promotion Invicta Fighting Championships in her last bout, winning a unanimous decision over Shayna Baszler last July at Invicta FC 2. McMann has earned three decisions, two submission wins and one TKO finish in her career.

Davis is 2-1 in her last three and 5-1 in her last six bouts. The Canadian was in action last month at the Invicta FC 4 event, picking up a technical submission win in a rematch with Shayna Baszler avenging a 2010 loss. It was Davis’ second appearance inside the Invicta FC cage having debuted with the all female promotion last July with a submission win over Hitomi Akano.
