With the fallout from today’s UFC 151 event cancellation, promotion officials are scrambling to reschedule almost every bout on the card.

One of those matches, a welterweight bout between former middleweight Kyle Noke (19-6-1) Charlie ‘The Spaniard’ Brenneman (15-4) has been given a new home, as both men have been moved to the upcoming UFC 152 card.

Canadian reporter Joe ‘Showdown’ Ferraro broke the news on Twitter (@ShowdownJoe) this evening, also announcing the news that Dan Miller (14-6) had pulled out of the event due to injury and that the promotion was looking for a new opponent for Sean ‘The Punisher’ Pierson (12-6).

UPDATE: Miller withdrew from the event in order to be at the bedside for his son’s surgery. His son, Dan Miller Jr. is having badly needed kidney transplant surgery. His son has been battling polycystic kidney disease (PKD) since birth. Miller Jr.’s surgery, and care afterwards will be very costly for the family, seeing years of expenses.

The newly branded UFC 152: Jones vs. Machida II event is expected to take place on September 22, 2012 at Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Canada. The event is now being headlined by a light heavyweight title match between Jon Jones and Lyoto Machida, while former main event flyweights Joseph Benavidez and Demetrious Johnson will now battle for the inaugural 125-lbs UFC title in the co-main event.

Brenneman is 1-2 in his last three matches with a first round submission loss to Erick Silva at UFC on FX 3 in his last fight. ‘The Spaniard’ earned his last victory in January of this year, winning a decision against Daniel Roberts at UFC on FX 1.

Noke will make his welterweight debut versus Brenneman and will look to end a two-fight losing skid when he steps into the cage at 170-lbs. The losses for Noke came in middleweight bouts versus Andrew Craig at UF Con FX 2 by decision and to Ed Herman by Submission at UFC on Versus 5. His last win was by submission at UFC 127 over Chris Camozzi.

Miller is another fighter who dropped to 170-lbs, winning his first match this past June by submitting Ricardo Funch at UFC on FX 4. The win put Miller back into the win column after two straight losses, losing to Rousimar Palhares and Nate Marquardt by decisoin.
