After fighting just one time in 2012, former WEC featherweight champion Urijah Faber will step into the Octagon for the second time in 2013 when he faces Scott Jorgensen on April 13. The bout will be the main event of that card, the season finale of “The Ultimate Fighter.”
The 33-year old Faber will enter the bout against Jorgensen on a high note, as he earned a first round submission in his last contest, stopping Ivan Menjivar with a rear-naked choke at UFC 157. Faber will be looking to string two consecutive wins together for the first time since he defeated Takeya Mizugaki and Eddie Wineland in back to back fights in November 2010 and March 2011.
Faber recently took some time out of his preparation for the Jorgensen fight to speak to Bleacher Report on a long list of subjects including the always-interesting subject of fighting an individual that is considered a friend.
Other topics that Faber touched on include his name being mentioned as a possible UFC roster cut, wrestling in MMA, as well as his future inside and outside the sport and the projects he and several other fighters are involved in.
