Former UFC Heavyweight Champion and recent UFC 200 co-headliner Brock Lesnar spoke with TMZ Sports at the WWE 2K17 Launch Party event in New York City ahead of his WWE return at the annual SummerSlam event on Sunday night and during the interview, discussed the possibility of another Octagon return in the future.

“I’ve got a few challenges to overcome before I can get there but I don’t know,” said Lesnar when asked if he is considering fighting again in the UFC. “For right now I’m going to focus on my WWE career. I wanted to step back into the Octagon and avenge my loss to diverticulitis.”

Lesnar continued, dropping the obligatory plug for his WWE in-ring return at their SummerSlam pay-per-view, where he meets WWE Superstar Randy Orton in a match billed as “15 Years in the Making.”

“Sunday, I’m facing Randy Orton,” he said. “And really that’s all that’s on my mind.”

Regarding his positive drug tests for his UFC 200 fight against Hunt, Lesnar admitted that he has a bumpy road ahead. He thanked his UFC fans and said that maybe one day they will see him in the Octagon again.

Lesnar vs. Orton goes down inside the WWE ring as one of the co-featured bouts at the SummerSlam event, which airs live on PPV and on the WWE Network from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York this Sunday evening.
