Following his epic knockout victory over Hector Lombard at UFC 199 on Saturday night at The Forum in Inglewood, California, MMA legend Dan Henderson spoke with UFC interviewer Megan Olivi.

During the interview, which you can watch in its’ entirety above, “Hendo” addresses the possibility of retiring from the sport after his victory on Saturday night.

“It was a pretty emotional night knowing that this is possibly my last fight and having them all here, it was great,” said Hendo of having his family in attendance for the fight.

Regarding possibly following Chuck Liddell and Matt Hughes as other MMA legends who retired from active competition but remained active in the sport through a job in the UFC organization, Henderson said he would love the opportunity.

“Yeah, absolutely, it’s something that …I need a job and I want to be involved in MMA,” said Hendo. “I would love to be involved in the UFC and represent them and the sport of mixed martial arts and help it grow.”
