As noted, UFC announced late Wednesday evening that interim UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones has been flagged by USADA for a potential Anti-Doping Violation, which led to his rematch against the reigning UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, Daniel Cormier, being pulled from the UFC 200 pay-per-view and Brock Lesnar vs. Mark Hunt moving up to the headline spot.

In addition to the statement released on UFC.com on Wednesday evening, UFC President Dana White also spoke to members of the MMA media in attendance for UFC’s International Fight Week in Las Vegas, which kicks off with the UFC Fight Night 90 event on Thursday evening, and concludes with the landmark UFC 200 pay-per-view event on Saturday.

Featured above is a video archive of Dana White addressing the Jones-Cormier 2 cancellation just two days before their scheduled showdown at what is expected to be among the UFC’s biggest events of all-time. White announced that Lesnar vs. Hunt would be moved up to the headline spot and addressed the fact that Jones, who just recently returned from a lengthy suspension for his hit-and-run incident in New Mexico in 2015, could be facing a minimum, mandatory suspension of two years depending on how things turn out with USADA.

UFC 200 is scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 9, 2016 from the brand new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Join us here at MMANews.com this Saturday for live coverage of the UFC 200 PPV!
