Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder crossed paths backstage before yesterday’s weigh ins and things did not go well.

The two heavyweights have been jawing at each other all week leading into their massive trilogy bout later tonight (Sat., Oct. 9, 2021) live on ESPN+ PPV from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, but things seemed to take a personal twist before office weigh ins on Friday (results HERE).

Before the two heavyweights tipped the scale and were stopped from facing off on stage yet again, Fury and Wilder were seen mixing it up backstage. The confrontation was brief, but insults about mothers were exchanged and both teams seemed ready to abandon all professionalism and duke it out behind closed doors.

Luckily, Fury and Wilder were too far apart to get their hands on each other. Instead, they simply shouted back-and-forth before heading on stage for the final part of their pre-fight rundown. Fury ended up flipping off “Bronze Bomber” during weigh ins and we now know why.

Check out the backstage altercation below courtesy of Top Rank Boxing. Also, be sure to catch the action later tonight on ESPN+ PPV as Fury and Wilder battle it out for the WBC heavyweight title.
