UFC middleweight contender Vitor Belfort has responded to Michael Bisping‘s comments to Fuel TV (via MMA Junkie) that he’s a “f***ing cheat” for using testosterone replacement therapy, and needless to say, he doesn’t agree.
“The Phenom” took to TwitPlus this morning to give a long-winded rant on his TRT use, acknowledging that he made a mistake in not admitting he was using the medical treatment in an interview with Brett Okamoto of ESPN last month.
Here’s the rant in its entirety:
This will be last time that I will talk about TRT I never hide from #ufc that I was on the treatment but I admit that I didnt admit to the press. I confess that this was my mistake I am MEN enough to admit my mistakes So from now on , guys please don’t fight me if u going to use this as a execuse that’s it. I never lie and never hide from ufc.
Just in case there was any doubt Bisping prompted Belfort‘s input on the subject of TRT, the Brazilian cleared up any ambiguity with a tweet he posted a few hours later:
GET IT OVER!! A KICK ON THE HEAD DOSENT HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH TRT This call #SKILL

At their UFC on FX 7 headlining bout last month, Belfort scored a TKO victory over Bisping after landing a picture-perfect head kick that dropped his British adversary, swarming him with punches once he hit the ground.
The loss was particularly bitter for “The Count,” as a win would have earned him a showdown with divisional champion Anderson Silva.
Bisping at first appeared to take the loss in stride, but now seems to be on a crusade against fighters who use TRT, with Belfort being his main target.
In the ongoing debate of the controversial topic of TRT, who has a better argument here: Belfort or Bisping?
