This year I am not going to fight for the title because the champion is hurt but November we will be in action for sure that is what I can say.

Belfort is currently on a five fight win streak which include wins over Rich Franklin in his return to the UFC at UFC 103, and Matt Lindland at the Affliction: Day of Reckoning event back in January of 2009. The former UFC champ had been scheduled to face Silva twice, the first at UFC 109 in Feb. and the second at UFC 112 in April of last year, but both had medical issues and were unable to compete (Silva recovered from elbow surgery and Belfort injured his shoulder).
