Conor McGregor is now able to do boxing training.

Although he has been (allegedly) getting into fights in public prior, Conor McGregor has now been officially cleared by doctors to begin some actual martial arts training.

Almost four months since breaking his leg and losing back-to-back TKOs to Dustin Poirier, McGregor is now off his cane and back hitting the pads and doing boxing work. The former two-division champion posted videos of his first boxing session, and vows to have the “greatest comeback in sports history.”

“First time back on the pads! What a buzz!” McGregor wrote. “Like my good friend @schwarzenegger says, ‘I’ll be back, bitches!’ Back with a vengeance! Thank you to all my doctors and my team for getting me this far so soon after surgery! There is work to be done but doing work is what I’m known for. Strap yourselves in for the greatest comeback in sports history!”

Apart from a clip of him hitting pads, McGregor also posted a separate video of him doing shadow boxing. He says he will be able to go back to kicking, grappling, and running in two months.

“2 more months I am able to kick, grapple and run again. Ecstatic and grateful at my position current. Watch the work get put in now,” he wrote. “8 weeks left this calendar year. Perfect to get a head start on 22’. You think a broke bone stop me? Ho I’ve 3 legs.”
