“I’m Respectful And Honest,” UFC Middleweight Chael Sonnen

Not the words some would use to describe former No. 1 UFC middleweight contender Chael Sonnen, but it’s the words he used to describe himself last Wednesday night on the red carpet at the Fighters Only 2011 World Mixed Martial Arts award ceremony in Las Vegas. Sonnen hosted the award show, saying he would be a humble and gracious MC for the evening.

Fight With Cung Le Went Just The Wanderlei Silva Wanted It

Having come off a big win over Cung Le, former PRIDE champ Wanderlei Silva felt the fight went just as planned against the former Strikeforce champ at UFC 139. Silva was at the Fighters Only 2011 World MMA Awards to support his coach Rafael Cordeiro, who was up for “Coach of the Year.”
