Bellator Fighting Championships opens it’s Season Eight Tournament on a new night and on a new network tonight.
The Bellator 85: Chandler vs. Hawn event takes place at the Bren Events Center in Irvin, California with the main event airing on Spike TV on Thursday, January 17, 2013 starting at 10pm EST (7pm PST). The preliminary card kicks of via streaming online video at Spike.com starting at approx. 8pm EST.
The event features two title matches as lightweight champ Michael Chandler defends his title against Rick Hawn, while featherweight title holder Pat Curran faces Patricio ‘Pitbull’ Freire.
The Season Eight Light Heavyweight Tournament also kicks off with three of the four Quarter Final matchups set for the evening.
