Bellator Fighting Championships is in Dayton, Ohio this week for Bellator 78 featuring the welterweight semifinal bouts of the Season Seven tournament.

Bellator 78 is scheduled to take place on Friday (October 26, 2012) at the Nutter Center in Dayton with the main card airing on MTV2 and the prelim card streaming live on Spike.com

The welterweight matchups include bouts between season four tourny fighter Lyman Good vs. Russian Michael Tsarev, and a match between the final DREAM 170-lbs champ Marius Zaromskis vs. undefeated fighter Andrey Koreshkov.

Also fighting on the card is Bellator women’s strawweight champ Zoila Gurgel, who returns to the cage after a year-and-a-half on the sidelines after a knee injury. Gurgel takes on Casey Noland in a non-title bout in the prelim card headliner.

Bellator Fighting Championships held the opening round of it’s Season Seven Lightweight Tournament on Friday night at the Reading Eagle Theater in the Sovereign Center in Reading, Pennsylvania. Moving into the semi-finals were Rich Clementi, who earned a tough split decision over Alexander Sarnavskiy, Dave Jansen, who moves on after a third round guillotine submission against Magomed Saadulaev, Polish fighter Marcin Held, who won a unanimous decision against Murad Machaev, and Ricardo Tirloni, who submitted fellow Brazilian Rene Nazare.
