Remaining on the UFC London card, Jack Hermansson turned in an impressive, technical striking display against short notice replacement, Chris Curtis — handing the veteran a one-sided unanimous decision loss in the co-headliner of tonight’s capital card.
Hermansson, was initially scheduled to co-headline tonight at the O2 Arena against former welterweight title challenger, Darren Till — elected to circle the Octagon over the course of his three round clash with Curtis, frustrating the Las Vegas resident to boot.
Landing his second straight win following a prior victory over Edmen Shahbazyan, Hermansson offered to reschedule himself against Liverpool native, Till next, after Curtis elected to offer up a pair of middle fingers to the #8 ranked middleweight challenger.

Less than a month removed from his win over Rodolfo Vieira in June Chris Curtis will step back into the Octagon to face No. 8 ranked middleweight Jack Hermansson at UFC London on Saturday.
In a recent video clip shared on Twitter by user @FluFlammerMMA, ‘The Action Man’ can be seen engaging in a sparring session, though his opponent was far from a professional. According to the tweet, Curtis was sparring with a man who claims to have been a “street fighter” with an undefeated record of 200-0.
“Here’s a clip of Chris Curtis destroying some delusional street fighter who says he’s 200-0 and said could’ve KOd a Chris after sparring him”
In the second video in the tweet, the uploader says, “Here’s the beginning of the video!” In that clip, Curtis can be seen landing a clean head kick on the quote-unquote “street fighter” while UFC middleweight contender Sean Strickland looks on.
“He hit the coach, he said he had like 200 street fights,” said Strickland. “And like he’s like f**king a lot of guys up.”
Chris Curtis Tells Supposed ‘Street Fighter,’ “I Could Have F***king Ripped You In Half”
Clearly having had enough of what Chris Curtis was dishing out, the unidentified man exited the cage, claiming he could have knocked out ‘The Action Man’ on his way out. A triggered Curtis followed him out and began yelling before training partner Strickland stepped in to settle things down.
“Put your f***ing glove on or leave,” said Curtis. “Bro, put your glove on or leave. I was toying with you, I could have f***ing ripped you in half. You know why I went first, bro? Because everyone else here would have f***ed your life up. If you can sleep me, sleep me. Prove it right now. I will f***ing change your life forever.”

Darren Till will not be cornering Chris Curtis in his matchup this weekend against Jack Hermansson at UFC:Fight Night 208, at the O2 Arena in London.
Till was forced out of his long awaited comeback, in his hometown due to an injury. He tore his ACL when he fought Derek Brunson back in September of 2021. His ACL was damaged before the fight, causing his coaches and teammates to advise against him fighting.
Till started off his UFC career undefeated with a record of 5-0-1, which included some big wins over Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson and Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone in their primes. The UFC saw his impressive wins alongside his excellent mic presence and ability to sell fights, and gifted him a title shot in just his sixth fight in the UFC. In hindsight, the shot may have came a little too quick, as he was severely outmatched against Tyron Woodley. After that loss, he would go on to lose three of his next four fights. He was even knocked out cold against Jorge Masvidal.
Although Darren Till was out of his match, he was still going to corner Chris Curtis in his matchup. He has since decided against it.
“I won’t be cornering Chris this weekend at UFC London, I feel it would be disrespectful to the whole situation after pulling out of the fight to then turn up to the corner of the fight. I wish Chris the best of luck he’s a proper guy & we trained together & he can do good things, I also wish Jack the best of luck may both men have a good fight. I also look forward to hearing what all the couch potato’s have to comment below this post I’ll be reading & laughing. To the people that messaged me saying keep my head up etc. it’s massively appreciated but the only problem right now is that my body is brittle through years of hard torment day in day out to the body.” Till tweeted out
Curtis looks to continue his fantastic year, as he looks to get his fourth win in just 9 months. He also tweeted out his thoughts on Till not cornering him this weekend.
