CM Punk doesn’t seem to have much interest in competing in mixed martial arts (MMA) — let alone against Logan Paul.

Paul recently suffered a split decision loss to KSI in their boxing rematch back in November. Afterwards, there was talk of Paul potentially venturing into the world of MMA with Punk touted as a potential opponent, given their combined lack of experience.

Paul went a step further by stating he would destroy Punk if they fought in an MMA fight. However, Punk isn’t reciprocating any of the interest back.

“No,” Punk told TMZ when asked if he would be interested in facing Paul.

When it was suggested that a fight between the two would generate big money given their respective followings, Punk responded further:

“My definition of big money and everybody else’s definition of big money is completely different,” he added.

Punk hasn’t competed inside the Octagon since his unanimous decision defeat to Mike Jackson at UFC 225 in June 2018. His only previous outing was his debut where he suffered a first-round submission defeat to Mickey Gall at UFC 203 in September 2016.

Although a third fight doesn’t seem likely at the moment, the former WWE star hasn’t entirely ruled it out.

Do you think Punk and Paul should duke it out?

Many were displeased when former WWE star CM Punk made his professional mixed martial arts (MMA) debut on the main card of a pay-per-view (PPV) event in 2016.

Punk took on Mickey Gall at welterweight on the main card of UFC 203. Ultimately, it was an easy night at the office for Gall, who submitted Punk in the first round. Nonetheless, many within the MMA community were angered that Punk, a professional wrestler, got his shot at an MMA debut on such a grand stage that was a UFC PPV; a spot that likely should’ve gone to someone more deserving.

Former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir shared those exact feelings during a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet. (H/T MMA News)

“I was upset when CM Punk got to have a UFC fight for his debut,” Mir said. “Well if all of a sudden my first ever pro wrestling match I jumped into AEW or WWE [they would say] what an assh*le! So just on my name I jump out there. I’m not gonna look very good, I’m not going to do a great job. And what does that say to all of the guys who have worked? Have wrestled for fifty fu*king bucks, you know? I mean like it’s kind of a spit in their face.”

Of course, Mir wasn’t mad at Punk himself, who was simply taking the opportunity afforded to him. Instead, his anger was more towards the situation, and the fact that someone more deserving was missing out on that spot.

“Now I was the one upset before when the guy [Punk] came over my sport and just took another [fighter’s spot]…that was my problem. I wasn’t mad at CM Punk for getting that opportunity. I was mad because it took the opportunity away from somebody else.”

What do you think about Mir’s comments on Punk’s UFC debut?

Logan Paul seems to have a great interest in pursuing his combat sports career even further.

Paul just made his professional boxing debut against fellow YouTube star KSI. Although Paul came up short, losing via split decision, he still wants to continue fighting. Paul has even expressed interest in fighting in the UFC.

Speaking to TMZ recently, Paul said he’d like to test himself against a fighter like CM Punk, the former WWE star who is 0-2 under the UFC’s banner.

“I am [open to fighting CM Punk]. I think I would destroy CM Punk if I’m being honest. I don’t know if anyone would disagree with that. He lost all (his UFC fights). I know I can take him,” Paul said.

“This isn’t about CM Punk anymore. I would want to fight an MMA fight. I would want to fight in the UFC or Bellator. Why CM Punk? Anyone, just a worthy adversary. It can’t be a world-class fighter.”

Punk’s teammate and former UFC welterweight champion, Tyron Woodley, took to his TMZ Show, “The Hollywood Beatdown,” to offer his thoughts. Woodley said he thinks the UFC would actually sign Paul, and a fight against Punk isn’t too far fetched. (H/T BJPenn.com)

“(Paul vs. CM Punk) can happen, for sure. To be honest, when the UFC brought over CM Punk, I don’t know why they wouldn’t bring over Logan Paul,” Woodley said.

“Logan Paul is the exact same demographic, 18 to 30 years old. The exact YouTubers that are watching his stuff are the same ones that are watching the UFC. He has a huge following. Great deal. He looks athletic, he’s a Division I wrestler, he’s insane, and he’s going to talk a lot of sh*t so the press conferences are going to be insane.

“After this last event, I wouldn’t be surprised in the next two months we see some breaking news of Logan Paul getting a couple-fight deal with the UFC.”

So far, UFC president Dana White has not commented on potentially signing Paul to a deal. However, we’ll see how things play out moving forward.

What do you think about Woodley’s claim that the UFC could sign Paul? Would you watch Paul vs. Punk?

Logan Paul Claims He’s ‘Destroy’ CM Punk In MMA, Will Box ‘F*cking Pu**y’ Dillon Danis

YouTube star Logan Paul might not have gotten the result he wanted in his professional boxing debut against fellow video star KSI, but that isn’t stopping Paul from further pursuing a career in combat sports.

Paul was recently interviewed by TMZ to talk further about his fighting aspirations, and still maintains he’d like to fight in mixed martial arts (MMA). Paul said he’d like to fight in the UFC or Bellator MMA, and mentioned CM Punk as a possible opponent (H/T BJPenn.com)

Paul was also asked about possibly fighting Bellator MMA star and jiu-jitsu ace Dillon Danis. Danis has been feuding with Logan’s brother, Jake, online for some time now. Logan called Danis a “f*cking p*ssy,” and said he’d be down to box the undefeated mixed martial artist.

“To be honest with you I’d fight Dillon any day. Dillon, you’re a f*cking pussy. You’re a lot of talk and no one in the MMA community likes you. You got a few Twitter followers who are on your d*ck and that’s it. I can assure you if you came over to the YouTube space we’d f*ck you up, specifically me,” Paul said.

“I’d probably box the guy, his BJJ game is too good for me to try and roll with him. But boxing bro? MMA guys, we sparred a lot of them training for KSI because of the wild punches. I would love to box Dillon Danis. But do the fans want to see me box Dillon? Does Dillon put people in seats? Who the f*ck is Dillon Danis? He’s Conor McGregor’s friend and he’s a punk-ass kid who chirps on Twitter. He’s got fat thumbs.”

What do you think about Paul calling out Punk and Danis?
