Brock Lesnar A lot of mixed martial arts fans think Brock Lesnar is overrated: He lost his first UFC fight in 90 seconds, got fast-tracked to a title shot because of his pro wrestling fame, beat a man he outweighed by 50 pounds to win the title, then crumpled when someone finally hit him in the face and lost his title to Cain Velasquez.

UFC President Dana White has heard those comments. But he says that viewpoint is actually an example of Lesnar being underrated. In fact, White calls Lesnar the most underrated fighter in the UFC.

In a live chat with the Seattle Times to promote Saturday night’s Fight Night in Seattle, White was asked to name the most underrated fighter, and Lesnar was the man he picked.

At the post fight press conference, UFC President Dana White will announce the winners of the Fight of the Night, Submission of the Night and Knockout of the Night bonuses. And winning fighters will talk about their fights.

The post-fight press conference will start about half an hour after the pay-per-view show ends (likely around 1:15 AM ET) and the video is below.

It appears as though Rashad Evans will get a second chance to fight for the UFC light-heavyweight championship after all. Weeks after a knee injury forced his withdrawal from a title bout with Mauricio “Shogun Rua — paving the way for teammate Jon Jones to compete for the belt — Evans is likely to be offered the next chance to fight for the title, UFC president Dana White said on Thursday’s night’s edition of ESPN’s MMA Live.

White stopped short of guaranteeing the title shot, saying that the man who emerged as champion would have to come out unscathed for him to be quickly matched up with Evans.

“If the guys are ready to roll again with no injuries, Rashad is definitely next in line,” White said.
