Everyone is excited about the return of Conor McGregor later this month (Sat. January 18, 2020), who takes on Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone in the main event of UFC 246 on pay-per-view (PPV).

Even UFC middleweight contender Darren Till is excited for the matchup, as he recently took to Twitter to offer his thoughts on the matchup. Till broke the fight down before predicting an early TKO win for “The Notorious One” when it’s all said and done.

“I can not fu*king wait for Conor X Cowboy next week. Feels like the old Conor is back. Both are right up for this. Cowboy’s camp have more to be concerned with than just Conor’s left hand though. As a southpaw it’s not the left hand. It’s the set ups from the left hand, the spinning kicks, the faints, angles, etc… It all draws you onto that left hand. Also that’s just not what he brings!

“You don’t beat who he beat by just having a left hand. If I would have taken my own advice above against [Jorge] Masvidal rather than just coming out to try to stream roll him. But he done me fair and good! Anyways a fu*king tear up next week! I’ve got Conor 1st round TKO, feel like the occasion might be too much for Cowboy! But that’s just my opinion, Cowboy’s been around a lot longer than me and knows a hell of a lot more.”

McGregor and Cerrone will fight at 170 pounds, however, UFC president Dana White has made it clear that, should McGregor win, he’ll likely challenge Khabib Nurmagomedov for the lightweight title in a rematch from their initial fight in October of 2018. White has described the matchup as a lightweight fight in which neither man is cutting weight.

What do you think about Till predicting an early TKO win for McGregor? Do you agree?

Till, of course, recently moved up to the middleweight division last month when he defeated Kelvin Gastelum via unanimous decision at UFC 244.

As a result, the Briton inserted himself into title contention with a potential fight against Adesanya in the future looming. Till even believes they were destined to fight:

“Yeah, it’s gotta happen,” Till said after his win over Gastelum. “I said in the press conference about Israel, mate, people got to stop doubting these type of people. Israel is unbeaten, so there ain’t no blueprint out there to beat him yet. So all these people need to stop saying that sh*t. Me and Israel need to fight.

“I need to provide this blueprint. It’s not about the belt, it’s about the destiny. Because he knows, he’ll come in the studio and tell you, me and him are meant to fight at some point. And you know, we’ll see, we’ll f*cking see after I get off these crutches first. But we’re meant to fight.”

Do you think we’ll see these two fight soon?

Some photos recently emerged showcasing former UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo’s current weight cut down to 135 pounds, and nobody likes what they’re seeing.

Aldo, who already had issues getting down to 145 pounds in the past, will try his hand in a smaller division, in hopes of getting a shot at a title opportunity. However, given the recent photos that have emerged of Aldo, many are skeptical that the cut down to bantamweight could be affecting his health.

Top-ranked UFC middleweight Darren Till seems to be of a similar mindset. He took to Twitter to offer his thoughts.

“Just seen a photo of aldo Wow he doesn’t look to good man I don’t get this cut to 135 I think he is gonna badly struggle or may not even make it I think it would of been wiser to go up rather than down As you get older the cut gets harder not easier I got marlon for this”

Aldo will take on Marlon Moraes at UFC 245 live on pay-per-view (PPV) from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on December 14. Moraes is a former bantamweight title challenger who was on quite the finishing streak before being stopped by Henry Cejudo for the vacant title.

Shortly after Aldo’s weight cutting photos went viral, his training partner, former Bellator bantamweight champion Eduardo Dantas, fired back on Twitter.

“Never judge a book by its cover.”

What do you make of Till’s comments on Aldo’s weight cut? Do you think Aldo will make weight?
